Doing a stocktake at a bar is a time-consuming and tedious task. That’s why we came up with BottleQ. The process is simple as 1-2-3. First, you create locations within the app. Then you populate them with your inventory. BottleQ makes this process a breeze – you only need a phone, our app and a few minutes of your time. Our database contains tens of thousands of bottles, so you scan the label and BottleQ knows what you’re measuring. Then you just point your camera at a bottle and it automatically measures the liquor. And finally, you can either display the current inventory on the screen or export it in the spreadsheet form to email or print.
This is the first step. You create locations (and usually you only do it once) - it can be shelves, bars, storerooms – that’s totally up to you. You can also choose to categorize by liquor type – vodka, rum, etc. The choice is yours. Then, when you want to do the stocktake, just select the location you’re going to work on.
This is how you do the stocktake. First, you point your camera at the bottle’s label so BottleQ knows what it’s measuring. Then, point the camera at the bottle – the app uses machine learning to measure the amount of liquid remaining in the bottle and records it. You can also adjust the level manually.
There are two ways you can use the data. Either display it on the screen or export it. Once exported, the spreadsheet with current inventory can be emailed or printed.
